Horse riding

Beach ridingRide along 14 kilometres of deserted beach and feel the wind through your hair. This horse trail has been named one of the best in South Africa.  It follows natural dune fields along it's course and sometimes after heavy rains these dune fields are filled with emerald pools. If you're lucky, you can also spot whales and dolphins along the way. You can choose your pace – either an easy walk or trot, otherwise a gallop that will make you want to shout with exhiliration!

Game viewing

Game viewingThe Eastern Cape has some of the best National and private Big 5 game parks. Addo Elephant Park is one of the most famous and is an easy days outing from Jeffreys Bay.  It has recently seen lion and cheetah added to its already excellent repetoire of game species.  Guided tours to this park and many others in the region are easily organised.

Township tours

MelkhoutfonteinJeffreys Bay''s township, Tokyo Sexwale, is small in comparison to those in major cities. It does, however, give visitors an insight into township life. The walkabout tour is spontaneous and gives you the freedom to choose where you want to linger. You will meet township families, play soccer with the kids and drink the local brew in the shebeen. Tours are about 3 hours long.
